Optimal functioning and well-being of the complex network of nerves and cells that facilitate communication within the body.
The nervous system is at the very core of the body’s existence. It enables us to adapt to our surroundings as we sense the world around us and engage with it according. The brain, spinal cord, and nerves work together to collect, process, and disseminate information from the body’s internal and external environments. The nervous system communicates through networks of nerve cells, which connect with every other body system.
The nervous system in its delicacy made up of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, shines a light on much difficult, complex, and at times has life-threatening diagnoses. No need to lose hope, with the right foods, one can see healing taking place. A wide range of symptoms and diagnoses we see and treat can include, loss of consciousness, headache, sensory problems (vision, hearing, taste, smell), mood swings, loss of appetite. These symptoms may lead to a diagnosis of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Testing for both TBI and MS would be IgG food sensitivity testing, salivary hormone panel including cortisol. For TBIs can depends on symptoms and severity and do regular serum labs to find “balance” and check RBC markers after bleeding stabilizes. For Multiple Sclerosis, a Comprehensive Stool Analysis (CSA) can also be considered.
Other diagnoses that can be affected by the nervous system functioning improperly that can be treated are, Alzheimer’s disease, migraines, brain tumors/cancer, ADHD/Autism, mood disorder/anxiety/depression, stroke.
